General Info

Education

• December 1999 - He received a Laurea Degree with full marks and honors in Computer Science from the University of Bari. His thesis concerned "concept-based information retrieval".
• November 2001 - He started the Ph.D. Course in Informatics at the Department of Informatics, University of Bari. He is currently preparing his Ph.D. degree, under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Semeraro. The topic of his thesis concerns the applications of machine learning techniques for extracting user profiles from textual data.
• July 2002 - He attended the 3rd Summer Convention on Information Extraction held in Frascati (Italy)
• July 2003 - He attended the 15th International School for Computer Science Researchers (Algorithmics for Data Mining and Pattern Discovery) held in Lipari (Italy)
• September 2003 - He attended the advanced course of Computational Linguistics “Statistical Methods for Natural Language Processing” held in Venice (Italy)
